Safety Escort Application
Volunteering with the CSES is a 2 hour per week commitment for the academic quarter. This includes Finals Week. No prior experience is needed. All applicants must provide two non-related references and sign-up for an interview with a Campus Safety Escort Service coordinator. If selected, applicants will undergo a combination of classroom and field training.

Cart Driver Application
Volunteering to be a CSES cart driver is a 3 hour per week commitment for the academic quarter. Each applicant is asked to have completed a minimum of 1 quarter of service as a Safety Escort and a minimum of 1 quarter of service as a dispatcher. This means no Safety Escort will be hired as a cart driver until he/she satisfactorily completes a minimum of 2 quarters of service for the CSES. The cart driver must possess a valid California driver’s license and obey all traffic laws. The CSES is not responsible for any illegal action taken by a driver of the cart.
